-I really didn't understand why Mildred tried to suicide herself..and why she didnt want to admit it after she was ok.
1) Even before Montag and his wife Mildred talk to one another we know that they are alienated (distant) from one another. How does the author convey this?
-Well I mean the fact that mildred tried to kill herself, says it all she was probably not happy with realationship with Montag. Also because the author explains that one night Montag comes home and goes straight to another room.

Good questions Alma, you should bring them up in class.
I think that the fact wasn't that mildred didnt want to admit to the pill problem, i think she just couldn't recall what had happened the night before.
I really like the way you stated your answers. I believe that she didn't admit it because she didn't know or because she thought that she took the right dosage of pills you know? AAnd i completely agree with you when you say that Montag comes home and goes straight to another room. I mean he obviously didn't like his realtionship with his wife if he just ignored her when he came home.
