Descriptive paragraph *aLmA's DrEaD*

As I walk up those creaky stairs, I start thinking about how boring it's going to be. Looking at more than 200 words, turning page per page, reading word per word, its the thing that I dislike the most and they leave it for homework. How boring.....

I thought this piece was good.
But I'm still a little confused about what you dread, is it class, or something else?
But anyway, I liked this sentence "Looking at about more than 200 words, Turning page per page, word per word."
I thought it was descriptive and set a mood to your piece.
The overall mood was boredom and some fear. But really, who does enjoy school? Good writing Alma! :)

Thanks for sharing this Alama. I believe it is the fear or hatred of reading a book that you describe, and the boredom you feel from having to read an assigned book. One thing that is good about this is the repetition in your words, like "page per page" and "word for word." That is effective because repetition makes people think of boredom.

You asked me to give you suggestions on how to improve it. I would try to add more adjectives. Think of words that can describe a book, and try to think of negative words, words that would make it look, see, or smell bad. "Dusty" book might be an example, because it makes you think of old and useless.

I love this blog Alma. I mean reading is something I dread to and i really wishe we didn't have to do it for homework. Sometimes it's cool to read but not for homework maybe during people's free time. I completely agree with you and love the way you described this horrible chore.
