Continue reading "Pericles Funeral Oration" up to p. 148 (bottom of page, section 42 line 10).
One of the Athenian values was courage. The soldier that they’re talking about had courage because in one of the sentences they said that he “nobly fought and he nobly died”. This can be good for the trail of Socrates because Socrates died with courage as well, he died for what he believed.
